Having the proper utilities in place prior to the move is one of the greatest factors in reducing user down-time.  Since many changes can occur between the original facility design and TCO, such as reorganizations and unplanned growth, having a current Equipment List  will enable you to advise the construction team of utility and/or casework changes prior to move-in.  Knowing that you have a place for each piece of equipment will help you to gain the confidence of the lab users and run a successful relocation project.
